Hunts are conducted from a rustic but comfortable camp with hot and cold showers, a sheltered outdoor kitchen and comfortable bedding.

In order to protect the genetics of the area a strict quota system is enforced with a limited number of hunters each year.​

Hunts are conducted over three days with hunters arriving the night before the hunt and departing the evening of the last day of hunting.
